The names of the 55 former pupils who lost their lives during the Second World War were recorded in the School magazine, The Barbican, along with short details of their life and achievements. These brief obituaries were often only included some considerable time after death as the news reached the school.
They are redolent with the hope of youth in the description of their early lives at the school but sadly all have the same ending.
These obituaries have been collated into the PDF that can be accessed below. The PDF will open in a new window to save navigating away from the site.
