Dec 2016 - Building Survey. To establish a baseline survey of the Chapel to

establish what, if any, maintenance issues may be encountered in the future

to assist in maintenance planning. Work being conducted by Toby Rollestone

of MacConville’s Surveying in conjunction with Ian Fines from the school.

Report scheduled for Dec 2017.                                                                         

March 2018 - Publishing a new book telling the story of the lives lost and the

Building of the chapel. The author, noted local historian, writer and journalist

David Arnold is hard at work with the material amassed to date. He has

appealed through his regular column in the Sussex Express for any

additional material along with updates on the book’s progress

bringing the Chapel to a wider audience. See Sussex Express - article 1.
