OUR MISSION

The Chapel Trust was formed to keep alive the memory of those former pupils of Lewes County Grammar School for Boys who gave their lives in service of their country in World War Two.

The Chapel built in their honour now forms part of Priory School, Lewes and the purpose of the Chapel Trust is to:

●        Celebrate and preserve the Chapel’s uniqueness as a War Memorial commemorating the pupils who sacrificed their lives for their country in World War Two
●        Promote use of the Chapel as a place of worship and spiritual inspiration for all
●        Utilise the Chapel and its history to enhance the learning experience of the pupils and staff of the Priory School, Lewes
●        Ensure the Chapel plays a full part in enriching the lives of the people of Lewes
